On Tuesday, 8/23 during the early morning between the hours of 12 midnight and 3 am some people decided to vandalize the Copper Hills High School Baseball, Softball, Soccer and Football fields. They dug up BOTH home plates and stole them, threw beer cans, cigarette butts and trash all over the infield. They went to the Soccer fields and turned over the goals and damaged tables used for the Football teams.
What an act of immaturity, these fields are a community place where young kids and families enjoy going. We are asking for information to any one that is bragging about it. The sports activities budget now has to absorb the extra cost for the stolen items and damaged items.
The security cameras over looking the fields show them in action, we just need your help in getting more information. The West Jordan Police Department is assisting and can also be contacted.
We are offering a reward and ask others to chime in with additional reward money; any amount will make the reward bigger. Let’s get this information out there by sharing and forwarding this letter to others. Please reply with your contact information and we can coordinate or you can contact the main office at CHHS to provide information.
If your the "bad" guy, go in and offer your time to make up for your mean activity, I am sure the school needs volunteers hours.
