We are considering utilizing a couple 14U pick up players (2 pitchers and another utility) during Spring League (Redwood) while our pitchers and two other gals play high school ball. This could be a good chance for a couple 7th or 8th grade pitchers that play on older teams to play spring league while their team mates play high school ball.
This isn’t a try out where our players will return to the team after high school ball and the pick-up players will return to their teams. We are simply considering the option of giving our younger players a chance to play some league games during spring.
We are interested in only pick-up pitchers/players experienced and proven at the accelerated level. Players would be expected to hold a current ASA card/insurance.
